Why CONNECTING is Important
Making CONNECTIONS is sooo very important! If I CONNECT with one center and assist one center at a time, that's nice. It will take a long time, but it's a nice thing to do. However, if WE make CONNECTIONS with individuals and business representatives to assist with the cause, WE can CONNECT with more centers to assist more children by providing them with new and extraordinary learning experiences they may not have ever encountered without YOUR CONNECTION. Some people have the time, knowledge, skills, services, life experiences and /or monetary contributions to assist. Some people do not have either one. However, WE all know someone who does.
Let's CONNECT to assist those who empower youth to support families and strengthen communities.
MAKING THE CONNECTION: Have you ever felt like you saw a need and had a desire to assist? I did. I also knew I did not have enough money or knowledge to accomplish what I really wanted to do and I wanted my money to go directly to the "cause". So, I spoke to family and friends (speak things into existence). Most said, "I will help too!" (Thank God for supportive family and good friends.) They are artists, actors, accountants, dentists, retirees, business owners, carpenters, nurses, mangers, security guards, CEO's, educators, promoters, etc. I CONNECTED with them. They donated monetary contributions, skills, time, gift cards, services, manipulatives, legal advice, materials, etc. Now they have made CONNECTIONS with their friends who own stores and make donations. Then they can make CONNECTIONS with their friends who don't have time, but have monetary contributions. Then they can make CONNECTIONS with their colleagues who have the skills we need to expand. Then they can make CONNECTIONS with their cousins who can assist with shipping (now THAT is a huge issue)... you get the point.
WISH LIST: Your time, knowledge, skills, services and life experiences are priceless. We value and appreciate all you choose to do. Your monetary contributions are used to purchase:
*manipulative to help improve fine and gross motor skills
*books
*educational toys
*furniture
*playtime kitchens
*commercial cribs
*art supplies
*SHIPPING (huge problem)
*a computer and printer for each center
*and more
We try to be a blessing to each center by understanding their individual needs.
